Golden State Warriors forward Jimmy Butler was all business in his return to Miami on Tuesday night, opting not to converse or shake hands with Heat players.

Heat center Bam Adebayo wasn’t surprised that Butler ignored his former teammates, nor did he take it personally.

“I’m not shocked. It is what it is,” Adebayo said, according to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald. “It’s a business at the end of the day. And he has a Golden State Warriors jersey on. We have a Heat jersey on. I don’t take it personal. We’re out there to do our job anyways. So if you don’t want to speak, we don’t speak, and that’s fine. We’re going to get out here, we’re going to compete, win or lose the game, and we move on.”

Butler finished with 11 points, six rebounds, and two assists as the Warriors fell 112-86 to the Heat. It marked his first time facing his former team since being traded to Golden State on Feb. 6.

The six-time All-Star told reporters after the game that while he has “a lot of love” for the city of Miami and the Heat fanbase, he didn’t feel a lot of emotions in his return.
