All aquatic sports are sold out in drop 2 for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. No standard tickets remain for swimming, open water swimming, water polo, artistic swimming and diving.
Two weeks ago, the VISA presale began for drop 2. Limited quantities of swimming tickets were available for the highest price in the ‘A’ tier for prelims only. Those tickets were priced at $1,116.27.
When tickets first dropped, prices for a finals session ranged from $104.19 to $1,860.45 per session. Prelims tickets range from $49.61 to $1,116.27 per session.
After tickets sold out for some sports, including swimming, during drop 1, LA28 announced on social media, “Drop 2 will take place in August with refreshed inventory across all Olympic sports at a range of price points. Registration for the LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw* to get randomly selected for a spot in Drop 2 is open through July 22, 2026.”
The non-VISA presale Drop 2 began yesterday, August 10th. No standard swimming tickets are left, not even the ‘A’ tiered $1,116.27 price for a prelims session. The only tickets that remain are Accessible: Wheelchair and Accessible: Wheelchair Companion tickets, with most tickets being available in the ‘B’ tier.
The cheapest tickets currently available are Golf Women’s Preliminary tickets that start at $28 for July 26th, 2028. Handball preliminary matches for both men and women are the next cheapest tickets available with tickets starting at $74.42.
