The highly anticipated Season 7 finale of Love Island USA, aired July 13, saw Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales being crowned the winners—marking a historic first as the show’s first Latino-winning couple. They emerged victorious over finalists Olandria Carthen & Nic Vansteenberghe, Huda Mustafa & Chris Seeley, and Iris Kendall & Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez.

Final Results & Prize Moment

Host Ariana Madix revealed Amaya (25, NYC) and Bryan (27, Boston) secured the most viewer votes, winning the $100,000 prize. In a touching final twist, Bryan drew the prize envelope and chose to split it equally with Amaya—an act that moved both viewers and fellow contestants.

A Season of Firsts & Controversy

The couple’s win topped off a turbulent season. Two contestants, Yulissa Escobar and Cierra Ortega, were removed after past racist remarks surfaced. Additionally, the abrupt elimination of fan favorites Chelley & Ace stirred controversy.

Fan Response & Social Media Buzz

Fans celebrated Amaya’s authentic presence and the couple’s emotional journey. However, some viewers criticized Bryan for perceived lack of contribution—sparking debates online. One viewer quipped, “Bryan has not done one romantic thing for Amaya but give her some kisses… They just won because of Amaya”.

Upcoming Reunion & Future Episodes

Peacock has scheduled a reunion special for August 25, hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen. Additionally, Love Island Games S2 is expected to premiere September 16.
