The season will be on the line when Oregon State plays an elimination game against Yale on May 30 at PK Park.
The Beavers (43-13) and Bulldogs (30-13-1) both lost their opening-round games of the NCAA Eugene Regional Friday, sending each into the losers bracket of the double-elimination NCAA baseball tournament.
Oregon State fell 3-2 to Washington State, and Yale lost 14-2 to host Oregon.
The winner will advance to a game Sunday against the winner of the Ducks vs. Cougars, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday. The loser will be eliminated from the tournament.
