MANHATTAN — Kansas State football returns home to wrap up its nonconference schedule against Big 12 newcomer Arizona in a rare Friday night game at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Kickoff between the two ranked Wildcat teams is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be nationally televised on Fox. K-State (2-0) is No. 15 and Arizona (2-0) No. 18 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, while the Associated Press has K-State at No. 14 and Arizona 20.
The game will not count in the Big 12 standings, remaining on the nonconference schedule from before Arizona left the Pac-12 since there was not enough time for either team to find a suitable replacement. K-State plays opens its league schedule on Sept. 21 at Brigham Young.
K-State is coming off a 34-27 victory at Tulane on Saturday in which the Wildcats rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit and held on with a late defensive stand. Arizona knocked off Northern Arizona, 22-10.

The 7 p.m. contest on Friday, Sept. 13 wraps up K-State’s three-game nonconference schedule. The game does not count in the Big 12 standings.
