Police believe the body had been there at least 24 hours before someone walking by noticed it.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating after authorities say someone discovered a body with several gunshot wounds on the north side, in the area of Highway 281 and Dick Friedrich Drive.
Police responded to the area around 3:40 p.m. and are investigating it as a homicide. Authorities haven’t yet identified the victim, but SAPD Sgt. Ryan Edwards added that several shell casings were found nearby.
The body was found in a grassy area, had been shot all over their body and is believed to have been there for at least 24 hours before it was found.
