Tbilisi, Georgia – BRAVE Combat Federation™ (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most global mixed martial arts promotion, is making history in Georgia with its first-ever event in the country. On Friday, October 3, the Tbilisi New Sports Palace will host BRAVE CF: Georgia vs. The World, a monumental night of MMA featuring nine high-stakes bouts showcasing Georgia’s finest fighters against elite international challengers.
Organized in partnership with Georgian Fighting Championship (GFC), the card is the centerpiece of the fifth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week, further solidifying the promotion’s global expansion.
A Historic Night for Georgia
BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid emphasized the importance of this milestone:
“For our first event in Georgia, we knew the card had to be special. Every bout was built to showcase the country’s brightest talents against some of the toughest international names in the sport. This is more than just a fight card; it’s history in the making with a World Title on the line.”
Tutarauli Headlines in World Title Bout
In the main event, Georgia’s No. 1-ranked lightweight Rauli Tutarauli looks to capture glory on home soil as he faces seasoned Dutch contender Pieter “The Archangel” Buist for the BRAVE CF Interim Lightweight World Championship. Tutarauli, one of the nation’s most accomplished fighters, carries the weight of national pride into the cage against Buist’s experience and striking pedigree.
Bantamweight Co-Main Event
The co-main attraction will see rising Georgian star Lasha Abramishvili square off against dangerous Tajik finisher and No. 3-ranked bantamweight Khurshed “Good Boy” Nazarov. With a title shot against BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Champion Borislav Nikolic potentially on the line, this matchup has massive divisional implications.
International Stars Add Firepower
The card also features a unique clash of rising international prospects: Pakistan’s Ismail “The Volcano” Khan, the country’s first IMMAF World Medalist, meets Azerbaijan’s Elmir Jafarov in a symbolic showdown highlighting BRAVE CF’s pathway from amateur excellence to professional stardom.
Additionally, Bulgarian prospect Nikolay Atanasov makes his BRAVE CF debut. Once named by flyweight superstar Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev as one of his toughest amateur rivals, Atanasov is ready to showcase his talent against Adigozel Guliyev in a flyweight battle.
Though the debuts of Olympian Beka Ghviniashvili and the highly anticipated clash between Vazha Tsiptauri and Amir Malekpour have been postponed due to injuries, the event remains stacked with top-tier talent.
