BTS is coming to Gillette Stadium on August 5 and August 6, 2026 for a pair of concerts. Handout

Global K-pop supergroup BTS is coming to Gillette Stadium this summer for a pair of shows, marking the first time a K-pop act has ever performed in the Boston area.

BTS will embark on its first world tour since 2021-22, kicking off the tour in the group’s home country of South Korea on April 9. The 79-show tour will visit 34 regions, including a pair of shows at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, Aug. 5 and Thursday, Aug. 6 at 8 p.m.

The tour will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage, allowing the group’s fervent fans, known collectively as ARMY, to see BTS’ seven members (Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook) from every angle.

BTS has broken numerous chart records in the U.S. and abroad. To put the group’s impact in a way all generations will understand: In 2020, it became the first group since the Beatles to have four albums top the Billboard charts in under two years, and in 2021 it became the fastest group to have six songs hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since The Beatles in 1966.

As is to be expected for a tour with such high demand, the presale process is a bit more complicated than most concerts.

Presale tickets for BTS’ Gillette Stadium shows will be available for ARMY members starting Thursday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. EST. Anyone interested in the presale can purchase a membership on Weverse, and must register for the presale on Weverse by Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. EST. Fans are also advised to keep their nine-digit membership ID (starting with BA) handy during the purchase process, and to make sure their fan membership and Ticketmaster account are registered to the same email address.

If you aren’t going the presale route, general admission tickets will go on sale for BTS’s Gillette Stadium shows via BTS’ website or Ticketmaster starting Saturday, Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. EST.
