Burlington’s “Latin American Connection” block party
A festival celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month gathers at City Hall Park on Saturday

The sound of music was in the air at City Hall Park in Burlington Sunday afternoon for the Latin American Connection block park.There was music, dancing, and a whole line-up of vendors, all to celebrate Latin American culture during Hispanic Heritage Month.”Burlington’s been known to be a diverse community,” said block party curator Maiz Vargas Sandoval. “The importance of this is to showcase the heritage culture, and all that we add to this big city.”The festival was part of Burlington City Art’s “Twilight Block Parties.”
