OCONOMOWOC — Another new-to-Oconomowoc business has been proposed for the Olympia Fields area — Caribou Coffee.
Plans for the approximately 1,800-square-foot coffee shop at 1445 Olympia Fields Drive will be discussed at Wednesday’s Architectural Commission meeting at 4:45 p.m. and then again at the Plan Commission at 6 p.m. The plans call for a drive-thru lane and outdoor seating.
Also on the Architectural Commission meeting agenda are building plans for Shorewest Realtors for an office building at 1229 Robruck Drive. The proposed plans call for a 7,970square-foot office building with construction starting this year and occupation by late 2026.
When the Plan Commission meets on Wednesday, it will also take up a 165-foot monopole cell tower located near Wisconsin Brewing Company Ballpark, 1011 Blue Ribbon Circle North, as well as the preliminary plat for Weston Acres, located on the southwest corner of Marks Road and Reddelin Road, Weston Meadows I and II.
The project will not exceed 109 dwelling units, including some duplex units. The overall density, according to meeting documents, is 1.6 dwelling units per acre.
Support for I-94 expansion
During both the Committee-of-the-Whole and the Common Council meeting, there will be discussion about a resolution supporting the expansion of Interstate 94 in western Waukesha County. Elected officials and business leaders have called on the state to prioritize expanding the interstate to accommodate growth in the western portion of the county.
When the Committee-of-the-Whole meets at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, it will also discuss Village Green improvements, service options with Johns Disposal, and building inspection fee changes.
Following that meeting at 7:30 p.m., the Common Council will meet to discuss a memorandum of understanding with Cobalt Partners and Pabst Farms Development Inc. alongside the village of Summit for development of 210 acres in Pabst Farms as a mixed-use development.
