CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Regina Bakery, a community staple on Cincinnati’s West Side since 1964, will close its doors by the end of September, marking the end of an era for the family-run business. Tom and Robin, the owners since 1980, announced their retirement with “a heavy heart, but also with immense gratitude.”

“Baking has been more than just a business for us; it has been our life’s passion,” they said in a social media post. Despite efforts to sell the bakery to continue its legacy, the couple has decided to retire and enjoy “some quiet years ahead.”

The Miami Heights store and production facility, along with the Cheviot location, will be acquired by Java Jackets. The new owners plan to offer some Regina favorites alongside their current offerings.

“Thank you for embracing us, for your loyalty, and for making Regina Bakery a special part of your lives and your happiest celebrations,” Tom and Robin said. “It has been an honor.”
