Ceviche, arepas and pastelitos too: Long Beach’s Latino Restaurant Week is back for year two.

Aligning with Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15) Latino-owned restaurants and chefs from around the city will take part in this cultural culinary celebration from Sept. 22-28. Local and visitors alike  are invited to stop by participating eateries to dive into various Latin American delicacies, such as a Honduran breakfast, Venezuelan pastries or Peruvian sandwiches, as well as the cuisines of Italy, Spain and Japan.

Latino Restaurant Week Long Beach City 2025 is presented by Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies’ Chefs in Philanthropy Program, alongside Branding is Social Inc. and Exquisitamente, with sponsorship in part by Port of Long Beach.

This second annual event aims to proudly highlight the city’s Latino entrepreneurs and the many Latino-owned restaurants that serve and uplift the community.

“We’re honored to bring this celebration back to Long Beach,” said Roberto Carlos Lemus, co-founder and board member of Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies, in a public statement. “Latino Restaurant Week Long Beach City is more than just a food event. It is a movement to uplift our community, recognize cultural heritage, and support local businesses.”

Last year’s inaugural event featured 18 participating restaurants, with 15 having already been announced for this year’s tasting trek. As of Wednesday, Aug. 20, the following restaurants are confirmed for Latino Restaurant Week LBC 2025:

Latino Restaurant Week LBC 2025 will begin with a bang at the Kick-off Celebration Thursday, Sept. 18 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Onni East Village Terrace & Clubhouse in downtown. This 21+ party will feature festive food, drinks and live music from DJ Joy, Jake Ryan and Cello Azul. Attendees are also asked to dress in end of summer attire.

Presale tickets for the Kick-Off Celebration are $50 and can be purchased through latinorestaurantweeklbc.com or the event’s Instagram @latinorestaurantweeklbc, while day-of tickets will be $75 at the door. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Affluent Hispanic Philanthropies’ community programming.

Long Beach’s Latino-owned restaurants can sign up for Latino Restaurant Week LBC 2025 at latinorestaurantweeklbc.com through Friday, Sept. 19.
