LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Four former Cyclones are set to display their talents in the 2026 NBA Summer League over the next 10 days in Las Vegas. Joshua Jefferson, the 28th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, will be playing for the Brooklyn Nets, while Tamin Lipsey has signed an exhibit 10 contract with the Indiana Pacers. Curtis Jones, who signed an Exhibit 10 conract with the Denver Nuggets and turned it into a two-way contract after the 2025 NBA Summer League, will be playing for the Boston Celtics this summer. Keshon Gilbert is currently on a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks and will be playing on their team in Las Vegas. Keshon Gilbert – Atlanta Hawks
Gilbert appeared in four NBA games last season, three with the Washington Wizards and one with the Atlanta Hawks. In his season finale with the Hawks, he tallied 11 points and nine assists. For the season, he averaged 4.3 points, 3.0 assists and 1.3 rebounds per game while shooting .417 from the field. Gilbert appeared in 32 games in the NBA G League, with 18 starts, between the Capital City Go-Go’s and the College Park Skyhawks. For the season, he avearged 17.3 points, 6.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. Gilbert was one of five players named to the NBA G League All-Rookie Team.

Joshua Jefferson – Brooklyn Nets
The 42nd NBA Draft pick in Iowa State history, Jefferson was Mr. Do-It-All for the Cyclones in his two years in Ames. Jefferson, the fifth consensus All-American in program history, was the first player in Big 12 history to turn in multiple triple-doubles in Big 12 play. He averaged 16.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game. He was the only Power Conference player in the country to average those numbers last season. Only seven players have done so in an entire season in the country going back to 1974-75, with no one in the Big 12 having accomplished it. Jefferson scored in double figures in 34 games last season, the third-most games in double figures in a season in school history. His streak of 40-straight games going back to last season ranked as the second-longest in the nation before going down with an injury in the opening minutes of the NCAA Tournament.

Curtis Jones – Boston Celtics
Jones played in 10 NBA games for the Denver Nuggets last season, averaging 8.8 minutes per game. He averaged 2.9 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists while shooting 40.7 percent from the floor. In the NBA G League, Jones started all 30 games he played for the Grand Rapids Gold. He averaged 20.2 points, 5.7 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game.

Tamin Lipsey – Indiana Pacers
A 2024 AP Honorable Mention All-American, Lipsey was a three-time All-Big 12 selection. Off the court, he was a three-time CSC Academic All-American and the 2026 CSC Academic All-American of the Year. He was also named to the Allstate NACDA Winter Good Works Team. Lipsey, a three-time Big 12 All-Defensive Team selection, averaged 13.5 points, 5.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game last season. He is the only Power Conference player in the country to average those numbers since 2022 and the first Cyclone to do so since Tyrese Haliburton in 2019-20.
