Del-One Federal Credit Union announced Adrian Romero, assistant vice president of retail operations, has been selected to serve on the board of the Delaware Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
As a board member, Romero will support the chamber’s mission to provide tailored support, resources and opportunities to Hispanic entrepreneurs and business owners in underserved communities.
A dedicated advocate for financial inclusion, Romero has helped Del-One expand its banking services for the Hispanic community. A few of these initiatives include leading the launch of Del-One’s first ITIN lending program, partnering with several local Latino organizations, and playing a key role in making Del-One the first credit union in Delaware to receive the Juntos Avanzamos designation, granted to credit unions committed to serve and empower members of the Hispanic community.
Serving on the chamber board, Romero will continue to empower Hispanic businesses and communities through financial education and advocacy.
