COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A 60-pound puppy and a tiny kitten are looking for forever homes in this week’s edition of Fur Baby Friday.
Denver is a 6-month-old mix between a German Shepherd and an Irish Wolfhound. He was one of 7 siblings rescued from a rural shelter. He’s the last remaining puppy from the litter to find a home.
Here’s how he’s described by his foster family from New Albay Pet Rescue:
- Denver might be one of the sweetest and calmest pups you will meet.
- He is snuggly and lovey. Denver loves crawling in a lap more than playing, but he will play too.
- He is great with everyone — other dogs, cats and people of all ages.
- He could use some confidence-building when it comes to car rides.
- Denver is housetrained.
And little Bug is a kitten. Here’s what to know about her:
- Found on a farm by himself at about 4 weeks of age.
- He has little white feet with black “toe beans.”
- He’s 9 weeks old now.
- He’s so new that he’s not on their website yet.
New Albany Pet Rescue is an all-volunteer group. They use only foster homes to house the animals they’re trying to rehome, and could always use new fosters. If you’re interested, click here.
