NBC 5, Telemundo 39 and the Latino Cultural Center want you to come out and celebrate all our children at the Día del Niño Festival at the Latino Cultural Center in Dallas. Bring the whole family and enjoy this free, joyous event on Saturday, April 25, from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Día del Niño is a holiday that traditionally celebrates the well-being of children and their rights. The Día del Niño holiday originated in Mexico but has since spread to several countries, including the United States! Here in Dallas, the Latino Cultural Center (LCC) is taking on the tradition with an afternoon filled with fun arts and crafts with Brick Haus, a workshop from Pasos for OC, games and prizes, dancing and live performances, music from Disco Kids, exciting lucha libre wrestling matches, delicious food, and so much more! Local vendors will also be on site, so be sure to support these small businesses!
Bring joy to a child when you enter an exciting drawing! The LCC will hold a “Juguetes para todos” (Toys for Everyone) toy drive with prizes throughout the day for those who enter. All you have to do is donate a new gift to the drive. For more information, click HERE.
This incredible event is completely free for the entire family, but reservations are required. Reserve your spot HERE.
