VILLANOVA, Pa., – Redshirt senior Eric Dixon (Willow Grove, Pa.) will serve a one-game NCAA suspension for impermissible participation in an event last spring. Dixon took part in April’s Portsmouth Invitational as he explored his options as part of the National Basketball Association Draft process.
Dixon, who led Villanova in scoring and rebounding in 2023-24, ultimately elected to return to Villanova for his final season of eligibility.
The suspension will be served in Villanova’s regular season opener, Monday, Nov. 4 vs. Lafayette.
