Groundation

16th K-9 Pals Golf Tournament

OCT. 18

This is a fundraising event for the nonprofit Fontana K-9 Pals. Golfers can partake in a free driving range, a breakfast with coffee and donuts, a shotgun start, a dinner banquet hosted by Kelli Green and Guy David from KFROG 95.1 FM and a raffle. There will be gift bags and T-shirt giveaways, beer samples from local breweries, and a Ford Bronco from Sunrise Ford to the winner of a hole-in-one challenge.

Fresh, Fit and Fun Fair

Hosted by Healthy Fontana, this fair offers community resources for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. There will be a beginner-friendly triathlon, fitness activities and a fresh produce market. Residents can participate in a community rewards card program and win cool prizes for attending events like these.

The city of Fontana, in conjunction with The Family Market Company, offers residents two farmers markets weekly. The Community Services Department, Healthy Fontana Division, oversees both.
