Calling all Straw Hat Pirates: your next treasure hunt is officially on the map.

The beloved One Piece franchise is finally planting its Jolly Roger in the US, with the first-ever ONE PIECE MUGIWARA STORE set to open in Los Angeles in fall 2026, and it won’t just be the brand’s American debut.

It’s also slated to be the largest Mugiwara Store in the world.

The anime mega-shop will anchor Westfield Century City, giving fans a permanent destination packed with official One Piece merchandise, exclusive collectibles and store-only goods they won’t find anywhere else.

And that’s not all.

According to Toei Animation, the Los Angeles flagship will feature original animation artwork, exclusive merchandise created specifically for the location and a special in-store video designed to immerse visitors in the world of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat crew.

The company says the experience is meant to offer fans “new discoveries with every visit.”

The opening marks a major milestone for one of the world’s biggest entertainment franchises.

Created by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece first set sail in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 22, 1997, before making the leap to television in 1999 on Japan’s Fuji TV.

The manga celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2022, while the anime hit the same milestone in 2024.

The series is currently airing the Elbaph Arc, which debuted in April 2026.

Until now, Mugiwara Stores have been exclusive to Japan and other parts of Asia.

The Los Angeles location will become the first permanent US outpost, giving American fans a chance to experience the official store without crossing the Pacific.

The announcement also comes on the heels of One Piece Night at Dodger Stadium, where fans packed the ballpark to see Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers while scoring exclusive One Piece promotional cards.

Those limited-edition giveaways quickly became hot collectibles, with secondary market listings ranging from about $600 to $1,150 after some gate-side listings initially topped $800 and even surpassed $1,000, another sign that One Piece fever is reaching new heights in the US.

To mark the announcement, the new store also launched official Instagram (@onepiece_mugiwara_la) and X (@OP_MugiwaraLA) accounts, giving fans a place to follow the countdown before the doors officially swing open come fall.
