ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It wasn’t easy transitioning from a player to a business man in basketball but Kenny Thomas did it well. He sat down to talk about the NBA lifestyle and the amount of work it took to get drafted out of NM Lobos in college to become an NBA star. Now off the court, the 11 year veteran talks about his Lobos Live radio show, what’s next on the horizon for him in the world of entertainment, where he’s pivoting his brand, and about his basketball camps with Boys and Girls Club. Learn more about Lobos Live here.

About Van Tate’s Sports Office

Did you know some of the biggest names making waves in sports have connections to our humble state of New Mexico? Each week catch KRQE Sports Director Van Tate as he sits down with athletes, coaches, and upcoming stars with ties to New Mexico – spotlighting their achievements, what’s going on in their lives, and what’s next in their careers.

Van Tate’s Sports Office is sponsored by Caesars Sportsbook at Route 66 Casino Hotel.
