Mission Statement
Founded in 2010, the Hispanic Alliance is a statewide convener that brings together individuals, organizations and institutions to advance opportunity and reduce statewide equity gaps. Guided by its mission to foster collaboration and connectivity among people, resources and cultures to build thriving communities, HA works to ensure that all South Carolinians have equitable access to pathways for long-term prosperity.
Impact

Beyond SDA, Hispanic Alliance answered 638 bilingual assistance calls, engaged more than 4,200 community members through programs and events, distributed 40,000-plus Know Your Rights cards statewide and mobilized a volunteer network whose contributed time totaled more than $162,000 in 2025.

Fundraising and Events
La Fiesta is Hispanic Alliance’s annual gala — an evening of culture, community and fundraising that draws leaders and partners from across the Upstate.
Hispanic Heritage Month runs Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. The centerpiece is the Opening Night Celebration, a public concert with 1,000-plus attendees, paired with a regional advertising campaign and a Leadership Spotlight Series profiling Hispanic leaders across South Carolina.
Homes for the Holidays is a December home tour through Greenville’s Alta Vista neighborhood. Local designers style each home, and the evening includes live performances and food rooted in Hispanic culinary tradition.
Volunteer Opportunities
Hispanic Alliance engages volunteers across four community teams focused on education, financial stability, health and legal access. Additionally, volunteers support through event logistics, mentorship and community outreach. Volunteers contribute expertise in legal services, financial literacy, health education and youth development. HA also welcomes corporate volunteer groups for community events and the Student DREAMers Alliance mentorship program. To get involved, visit HispanicAllianceSC.com or contact communityinfo@
Giving Opportunities
Hispanic Alliance invites individuals, corporations and foundations to invest in a stronger South Carolina. Individual gifts directly fund programs that create pathways to education, economic stability, health and legal access for Hispanic families statewide.
Corporate partners may sponsor signature events including Hispanic Heritage Month and Homes for the Holidays. These are opportunities to align your brand with a trusted, culturally rooted organization and a rapidly growing community. Foundation and major gift inquiries are welcomed for program support, scholarships and systems-change initiatives.
