Hispanic expo set for April 6
The second Hispanic Business Expo Fair is set for Saturday, April 6.
The event, organized by the Tulsa Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, will be held from noon to 6 p.m. in McCullough Park, 11534 E. 25th St.
The event will feature more than 60 Hispanic-owned businesses and entrepreneurs showcasing goods and services. Attendees can enjoy authentic Latin food, live dance and music, and entertainment for children.
“Our objectives are to showcase the talents and creativity of Hispanic entrepreneurs and their businesses and bring the Tulsa community a wide array of unique products and services,” said Martha Isabel Zapata, the Hispanic chamber’s CEO. “We invite everyone to join us for a day of fun and community support.”
The event is open to the public. No reservations are required for attendees, who can come and go throughout the day.

Tulsa, state improving in electric vehicle chargers, study says
The Tulsa metro area ranks No. 68 out of 210 metro areas for electric vehicle friendliness, and its EV friendliness improved by 14.0% in 2023, according to an iSeeCars study.
Oklahoma ranks No. 28 in the U.S. for EV friendliness, and its EV friendliness improved by 10.7% in 2023.
Electric vehicle infrastructure in the U.S. grew by 23.9% in the past 12 months, according to the study, which identifies the most and least EV-friendly cities and states.
The study analyzed how many chargers are available per resident to determine the cities and states with the best and worst electric vehicle charging access.
The Tulsa metro area has 543 chargers, or 1 EV charger for every 2,239 residents.
Oklahoma has 1,398 chargers, or 1 charger for every 2,900 residents.
“When ranked by the ratio of residents to EV chargers, California remains the best state for driving an electric vehicle, with five of the top 10 most EV-friendly cities located within its borders,” said iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer. “Southeast and Midwest cities are among the least-friendly EV metro areas.”
The San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose, California metro was ranked the highest for EV friendliness; Milwaukee was ranked the lowest.
