June’s meeting also marked a leadership transition. After a successful year of dedicated service, Syd Waldman of Waldman Funeral Care, LLC, stepped down as chair. Members expressed their gratitude for his leadership and contributions.
Taking the reins this year is Loren Gordon, marketing director at Seven Acres Jewish Senior Care Services and The Medallion Jewish Assisted Residence. Debbie Gersh, owner and designer of Creativities, will serve as vice chair. Continuing as secretary/communications is Phyllis Crowell, Realtor with Beth Wolff Realtors. Waldman will serve as past chair and advisor. The treasurer will be named at a later date.
HJP has an exciting year ahead, kicking off July 23 with guest speaker Steve Winter, CEO of Astoundz. Winter is a seasoned digital marketing executive with more than 25 years of experience helping companies grow their online presence. He is known for integrating SEO strategy with website development to drive measurable business results.
