West Virginia University nursing programs rank top 70 in the country

Three happy hispanic nursing students at school

MORGANTOWN, WV (WVNS) – Big news for West Virginia University! Two graduate programs at the school have been ranked in the top seventy-five in the country according to U.S. News and World Report rankings.

The rankings compared one hundred and forty-seven schools across fifteen categories. The Doctor of Nursing program has been ranked number sixty for Best Nurse Anesthesia Programs.

The Master of Science in Nursing has been ranked number seventy for the best Nursing School Master’s Program. Doctor Stacy Huber, the Associate Dean of Curriculum at West Virginia, said she is very proud of what her students have accomplished. 

“It is a rigorous program, both programs are very rigorous and the students dedicate a lot of time and energy to their studies. We have a one hundred percent employment rate with both programs so we know when they graduate from each of these programs they’re going to go into the job market and get their job they want or the career they want,” said Huber.

Dr. Huber said she commends the hard the working staff of WVU for their dedication to the programs and their students.
