ADELANTE LATINA CONVENTION 2026 AT AURARIA CAMPUS

Newsroom El Comercio de Colorado

The fourth edition of the Adelante Latina Convention 2026 brought together hundreds of business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders in Denver to celebrate the growing economic and social impact of Latinas in the United States. The event, organized by Adelante Community Development, has become a space for inspiration, learning and collaboration aimed at strengthening Latina leadership.

During the gathering, executive director María González highlighted the key role Latinas are playing in the country’s economy and in building stronger communities. “Latinas are creating wealth, we are breaking barriers and we are coming together to celebrate who we are,” González told the audience of about two hundred attendees.

Latinas driving economic growth

The community leader emphasized that the convention seeks to bring together powerful women who are launching businesses, creating jobs and promoting economic mobility. According to González, the event not only celebrates achievements but also creates concrete opportunities for professional and entrepreneurial growth.

“The business owners, entrepreneurs, community leaders and mothers here share something in common,” she said. “They care deeply about their economic mobility, about having a better job or a stronger business, and above all about creating a sense of belonging.”

González added that Adelante has become an important meeting point for strengthening support networks among Latinas at a time when the Hispanic community carries increasing weight in the U.S. economy. She said the fourth anniversary of the convention brings together influential speakers, powerful messages and opportunities for collaboration during a pivotal moment for Latinos in the United States.

In her remarks, she also highlighted the economic contribution of the Latino community. “We are making money, we are generating growth and we are part of the gross domestic product of this nation,” she said, drawing applause from participants.

Talks, networking and motivation

The convention featured panels, motivational talks and networking sessions focused on leadership, entrepreneurship and professional development. Many attendees said the event offered an opportunity to strengthen their confidence and expand connections within the Latino business community.

Among the participants was Ana Moscacceri, who shared a motivational message encouraging women to continue pursuing their personal and professional goals.

“Bet on yourself,” Moscacceri told the audience. “There are many opportunities, and this entire community is here to support one another and keep moving forward.”

The gathering also reflected the steady growth of the initiative, which with each edition attracts more participants interested in launching projects, developing new skills and building collaborative networks.

A growing movement

The Adelante Latina Convention is part of a broader movement promoting the economic empowerment of Latinas, a group that continues to expand its influence across key sectors of the U.S. economy.

For many attendees, the event was not only a conference but also a celebration of the talent, resilience and leadership that define a new generation of Latina women determined to grow together and open doors for those who follow.
