PHOENIX — A Jewish deli pop-up that has served food throughout the Valley will open its first brick-and-mortar location later this month.

Little Pickle, located within the Esplanade complex near Camelback Road and 26th Street, will open on May 19, according to a Friday news release.

The restaurant is being led by Rick Phillips and Peter Hearn of 151 Hospitality, which is behind other Valley restaurants such as The Mercer and Camello, the latter of which will open next to Little Pickle in the fall, according to the release.

“We never imagined a pop-up would spark this much passion, but the response was overwhelming. People connected with it — it felt like a slice of New York,” Phillips said in the news release.

“The Little Pickle is the kind of deli food I grew up with, it’s our love letter to the East Coast, reimagined for Phoenix. It’s playful, soulful food with real roots, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back — this time for good, Phillips continued.”

What dishes will be served at Little Pickle?

Little Pickle will serve breakfast and lunch options daily from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant will offer deli options, including bagels, sandwiches, house-smoked salmon, brisket and more.
