The 2026 NBA Draft starts Tuesday night with the first round, but the biggest storyline in the league right now is the Miami Heat winning the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade sweepstakes.
The Milwaukee Bucks traded the two-time league MVP to the Heat for a collection of several players and draft picks. The Boston Celtics reportedly offered Jaylen Brown and multiple unprotected first-round draft picks, but the Bucks chose the Heat’s package instead.
So, what comes next for the Celtics? Could they still look to trade Brown? Which players will they target in Round 1 of the draft?
The C’s own the No. 27 overall pick. Frontcourt depth is among the Celtics’ top roster needs, but a scoring wing would be a nice addition as well.
