Pasadena residents can discover new ways to interpret and analyze artwork at a free workshop designed to unlock the visual language of Spanish and Latino artists.
“Conversations with Art: Hispanic & Latino Artists” takes place Tuesday, September 9, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Village Office Community Room, 236 W. Mountain St., #113, in Pasadena.
Art enrichment facilitator Helane Rheingold will guide participants through an interactive workshop focusing on techniques for how to look at, interpret, and analyze works by Spanish and Latino artists.
The session builds practical skills for understanding artistic expression and cultural context.
The workshop arrives ahead of National Hispanic & Latino Heritage Month, which runs annually from September 15 to October 15.
Participants will examine works including Diego Rivera’s 1925 piece “Flower Festival,” exploring significant artistic traditions.
The event is free and open to all ages.
Program Manager Pablo Ortiz-Morales organized the workshop and handles registration.
Interested participants can reach Ortiz-Morales at pablo@pasadenavillage.org or by calling 626-765-1040.
