Los Angeles authorities are investigating a man accused of threatening to kill a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge via a phone message.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said 39-year-old Kristofas Butsky left a voicemail message attempting to intimidate the unidentified judicial officer.
The sheriff’s department did not say when Butsky made the alleged threat or how he came into contact with the judge.
Butsky was arrested for threatening an elected official, a felony.
The sheriff’s department said the case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
