SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Junior outside hitter Marcus Pardasie (Paramus, N.J./Cresskill) earned NCAA Men’s Volleyball All-Regional Tournament Team honors, it was announced Saturday, April 18, following a standout performance in New Jersey City University’s NCAA Tournament appearance at Springfield College.
Pardasie delivered a match-high 25 kills while hitting .250 in the Gothic Knights’ five-set loss to Buffalo State in the NCAA play-in match on Thursday, April 16. He added 14 digs to record his sixth double-double of the season, along with two service aces, two assists and one block in a complete, all-around effort.
NJCU concluded its season with a 20-10 overall record and a perfect 8-0 mark in CUNYAC play. The Gothic Knights’ postseason berth marked the program’s second NCAA Tournament appearance and its first since 2021.
A central force in NJCU’s success throughout the year, Pardasie led the team with 279 kills and ranked among the squad’s top contributors across multiple statistical categories. He finished second on the team with 169 digs, third with 15 service aces and fifth with 37 assists, underscoring his versatility on both sides of the ball.
On the conference level, Pardasie ranked third in kills (279) and points (304.5), while placing fourth in digs (169), establishing himself as one of the CUNYAC’s most dynamic players.
Pardasie closed his NJCU career with 1,011 kills, becoming one of the program’s top offensive performers in recent history. He also totaled 569 digs, 98 service aces, 73 total blocks and 78 assists over his career.
The 2025 campaign marked NJCU’s third consecutive 20-win season and the 11th in the program’s 37-year history, further solidifying the Gothic Knights’ sustained success in recent years.
