Michigan State gymnastics has earned a bid to the NCAA Gymnastics Regionals for a fourth straight season and will compete in the NCAA University Park Regional beginning April 3.

The meet will take place on the campus of Penn State at Rec Hall in University Park, Pennsylvania.

MSU is the No. 2 seed in the regional and No. 8 seed overall, which marks the Spartans’ highest-ever seed at regionals. The 2025 NCAA Regionals occur over four regional sites, with four sessions of competition taking place over five days. The first round in University Park on April 2 will be a “play-in” dual meet between Maryland and West Virginia.

MSU begins competition in the second round on April 3 at 1 p.m., competing in the first of two sessions alongside third-seeded and ninth-ranked Kentucky, Ohio State and host Penn State. The second session at 7 p.m. will feature No. 1 seed LSU, No. 4 seed Arkansas, Michigan and the winner of Wednesday’s play-in meet.

The top two teams from each session will advance to the regional finals on Saturday, April 5 at 5 p.m.

The top two teams from the April 5 regional finals will advance to the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 17 and 19, joined by the top two teams from the other three regions for an eight-team national championship field.

MSU advanced to its third straight regional final last season, finishing fourth behind Missouri and NCAA Championships finalists Florida and Utah.

All NCAA Regional sessions will stream on ESPN+.
