Former Amazon Web Services Leaders to Drive Streaming Spatial Content Forward
CULVER CITY, Calif., Feb. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Miris, the company pioneering the era of spatial streaming, today announced that Doug Smith will join Miris as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Erik Smith will join the company as Senior Vice President of Business Development after serving as category leaders in go-to-market strategies for Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Prior to joining Miris as CRO, Doug Smith served as the Worldwide Head of Visual Compute & GameLift GTM at AWS, where he specialized in go-to-market strategies for multiple AWS service launches. Doug has spent over two decades in the media and entertainment industry, growing businesses and partnerships.

Before that, Erik was the Director of Strategic Alliances at Electronic Arts, where he managed the distribution of titles for EA Mobile.
