The New York Giants, in partnership with Your Local Ford Stores, announced a series of activations to celebrate Latino Heritage month including community outreach and events, custom content, a retail collaboration, and gameday activations on October 9 at MetLife Stadium when the Giants host the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Giants have partnered with local kid reporter and social media influencer “Jazzy” to be the host of the Giants-produced content series “Latin Game Changers”, a series which highlights game-changers in the Latino community from the world of sports, music, art and fashion. Native New Yorker, DJ Camilo, will enhance fan engagement initiatives throughout the Tri-State area, and will continue to be the official DJ of the Giants’ Watch Party Series, presented by Modelo.

Through the NFL’s local retail collaboration program, the team will launch a limited-edition Giants themed capsule with New York streetwear brand Brigade founded by Aaron Maldonado and Sarah Gaudio. The collection will celebrate “Nueva York”, including culture, community and generational fandom. The collection will be available starting in October at MetLife Stadium, Fanatics, and Brigade’s e-commerce platforms.

Your Local Ford Stores, along with supporting partners PNC Private Bank and The City College of New York, will expand the New York Giants Latino Heritage Platform to include the following activations:

On October 9, vs. Philadelphia, there will be a dedicated Ford Tailgate Zone to celebrate Latin culture. There will be a mix of Latin cuisine sampling, dance exhibitions, musical entertainment, live mural painting, and exclusive co-branded Giants and Ford giveaways. The space will unveil new Latin-inspired branding envisioned and led by New York-based creative Tommy Campos, with support from Alberto Hernandez.

“As a New Yorker, I’ve always felt the pride, rhythm, resilience, and joy that Latino culture brings to the city,” said creator Tommy Campos. “Football carries the same spirit, passed down through families and built on tradition, and with this project I wanted Giants fans to see themselves in the work and feel a true sense of belonging with their team and their city.”

The Giants will host a “Football Familia” suite that will feature an exclusive group of top Latin artists, entertainers, and content creators. The suite will showcase a range of game day-inspired dishes with a Latino flavor and flair.

The Giants will honor two youth flag football players as part of the league-wide partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. The NFL and HHF have partnered for several years to recognize and celebrate Hispanic and Latino excellence in the football community, and this season will sustain this momentum by selecting and honoring outstanding Latino youth football players throughout the League’s 32 club markets. The reimagined program highlights Latino excellence, while putting a focus on football and the next generation of fans and players. Each club will nominate two youth football players, with eight finalists receiving a grant award at a special ceremony during Super Bowl Week. The Giants 2025 honorees are Jason Lajara, Brick Memorial High School junior quarterback, and Isabella Jubrey, Northwest Catholic High School junior QB, LB, CB, WR.

This Latino Heritage Month, the Giants and Your Local Ford Stores are hosting a “Tech Ed Workshop”, where students will have the ability to learn about technology and automotive careers. Ford representatives will be on-site to talk to the students about the role technology plays in the development of their vehicles and discuss opportunities for future career development growth within the automotive industry.

Based in the Tri-State area, Your Local Ford Stores have 89 stores in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey, offering sales and service of Ford’s award-winning lineup of personal and commercial vehicles. Their mission is to elevate the dealership experience by providing excellent customer service, a range of financial solutions through Ford Motor Credit Company, and to give back to the community with first responders, military personnel and youth initiatives.
