New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo has turned a season-ending injury into a whirlwind of off-field entertainment.

In Week 8, Skattebo suffered a brutal right ankle dislocation and fibula fracture against the Philadelphia Eagles, requiring surgery and landing him on injured reserve (IR). Recently out of his walking boot and walking unaided, the former Arizona State star is making steady recovery progress.

While rehabbing, Skattebo has stayed highly visible. He sat cageside at UFC 322, where his wild yelling went viral after a hot mic captured his unhinged energy. Days later, he joined teammates and comedian Andrew Schulz in a scripted WWE brawl at Monday Night Raw in Madison Square Garden.

The Giants approved the appearance in advance; interim coach Mike Kafka confirmed the team knew it was staged and viewed it positively as a rookie outing.

Skattebo also returned to Arizona State for a game, where Sun Devil fans gave him a roaring ovation. He frequently streams on Twitch as “sk4tpack,” racking up viral clips like smashing a chair and celebrating subscriber milestones.

Appearing remotely on Prime Video’s Good Sports with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson, Skattebo addressed his busy extracurriculars, revealing: The Giants front office has spoken to him about his off-field activities.

“There’s been a few,” Skattebo said when asked if Giants employees have spoken to him. “The GM is always in your ear about not doing dumb s–t. But they know I am going to be smart about it and make sure I am in the right place to not put myself in a bad situation.

“I’ve been hearing it, for sure. But it hasn’t been too bad.”

The charismatic rookie remains a fan favorite, bringing energy even from the sidelines.
