Non-Fiesta things to do in San Antonio this weekend

There are plenty of events on tap for Fiesta’s final weekend.


  • The King William Fair and Parade;
  • Battle of Flowers Parade (and subsequent day party at the Bonham Exchange);
  • The Flambeau Parade;
  • And the last few nights of NIOSA.

Get your bib out for Crawfish Fest at Ida Claire, running Thursday through Saturday with live music outdoors on Friday.

Shop pop-up vendors at the Make Ready Market food hall downtown, 5-10pm Friday.

Hop on a River Walk cruise with mariachis on board, 7pm Friday and Saturday.

Learn Salsa and Bachata dancing in a free community class at the Tobin Center, 9-10am Saturday.

Be a judge in the San Antonio Margarita Festival, noon-6pm Saturday at Backyard on Broadway.

Browse more than 100 food and anime vendors at the Otaku Cherry Blossom Food + Anime Festival, noon-8pm Saturday and noon-6pm Sunday at Wonderland of the Americas.

Head to Cherrity Bar for live music on the patio from the Michael Alanis Band, 8-11pm Saturday.
