Trump signs EO easing federal marijuana restrictions

President Donald Trump signed an executive order easing federal marijuana restrictions.

  • Ohio has recalled certain cannabis gummies for not having the required THC symbol on each serving.
  • The recall affects Sweet Talk Gels/Gummies made by Harvest Processing and sold between Feb. 6 and Feb. 27, 2026.
  • No adverse health events have been reported, but officials warn of risks if consumed unknowingly.

The Ohio Division of Cannabis Control has issued a product recall for certain cannabis gummies because individual servings are not marked with the required universal THC symbol. Ohio Administrative Code requires the universal THC symbol on each serving.

The Class II recall involves Sweet Talk Gels/Gummies manufactured by Harvest Processing, LLC that were sold between Feb. 6 and Feb. 27, 2026, and sold at several dispensaries throughout Ohio, including locations in Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton.

No adverse events have been reported, but the agency says that the issue could pose health and safety risks if a child or another individual consumes the gummies without realizing they contain THC.

Here’s what to know.

Which products are affected in the recall?

The Division has placed a hold on all affected gummy products so that no additional non-compliant products are distributed to or sold at dispensaries. The recalled Sweet Talk Gels/Gummies manufactured by Harvest Processing come in multiple flavors such as mango and watermelon.

Consumers who purchased gummies with matching product ID and batch numbers from Feb. 6–27 that do not contain a visible THC symbol may return them to the dispensary for a refund and proper disposal. Returns will not count toward the 90‑day possession limit, the agency states.

Those experiencing health effects are advised to contact a healthcare provider and report the incident to the Division of Cannabis Control at 1-833-464-6627.
