PIQUA — Perfectly Priced, a Piqua resale company that offers liquidation products from big box retailers at a fraction of the price, recently opened its doors for business on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

Owner Brittany Foster says she always wanted to open her own business.

“I was so unsure of what I wanted to do, or where to start. I had my first born in 2019, and when she was around a year old, I wanted to help my husband bring in more income. My babysitter at the time and I decided that buying liquidation looked like a lot of fun and decided to buy a pallet to see what would happen,” said Foster. “That first pallet had me hooked. We started selling products on a Facebook page, and the rest is history.”

“My company offers liquidation products from big box retailers at a fraction of the of the price,” said Foster. “I pride myself in making sure that our product is clean and in working order,” said Foster. “Liquidation is always at the buyers discretion, but I pride myself on making sure my relationship with my customers is pure and authentic.”

“If there are issues, I do my best to fix and correct (it). We get anything from baby stuff, to kitchen, garden, and electronics,” said Foster. “That’s the best part about the company, is every week there is new stuff to see and purchase.”

“My inspiration behind opening the business is saving people as much money as I can. Being a mom of three, I know how much stretching a dollar counts,” said Foster. “I also know that it’s hard not to want to buy new and nice things for ourselves, even on a budget, I just want people to be able to come into the shop, relax, look around and maybe feel less guilty splurging $20 instead of $50.

“People come in and see things they couldn’t buy before, but wanted and that is allowing them to be able to grab it off the shelf and not have buyers remorse since my prices are kept low,” said Foster.

Foster is a Piqua native and graduated from Piqua High School in 2010.

“I chose Piqua to open my business because I am a Piqua native. I have in lived in Troy since 2013, but my parents both live in Piqua,” said Foster. “Friday nights used to be spent at the mall, and then the bowling alley. I would love to see more things bring this area back to the way it was when I was in high school.”

According to the Perfectly Priced Facebook page, they offer something different every week from popular retailers sold at a fraction of the price. They offer hundreds of items that are sold under $10.

“Customers can expect a low pressure, easy shopping experience. I want to build relationships where customers feel like they truly know me, what I stand for, and what I have to offer as a business owner,” said Foster. “I’m doing this more for them, and less for me. I’d love to start getting more involved in the community here, and be more of a household name for the city.”

“I have been running this business as an LLC since January 2024 online, this is the first store front that I have opened. I would like to get bigger, but as of right now the plan is to stay a single location business,” said Foster. “You never know what the future will hold though.”

“Perfectly Priced, LLC (on Facebook). I am on there everyday and available for questions on there. Products are sold online there, and they can be picked up locally at the shop,” said Foster. “Things that are not on the sales floor get offered for sale on there. I allow pick ups for those items Wednesday through Saturday during store hours.

Perfectly Priced is located at 987 E. Ash St. Unit 7. The business hours are: Wednesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The business is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
