HERRIMAN, Utah (Wednesday, April 1, 2026) – Real Salt Lake today unveiled plans for its Soccer Celebration festivities during this summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup. To recognize the historic occasion, Real Salt Lake will host several events at its America First Field home, along with select Megaplex theater locations, while partnering with Fox 13 in hosting viewing parties for all U.S. Men’s National Team matches and Telemundo for all Mexico matches. Tickets will be made available on Tuesday, May 19. Details will be made available at a later date.

Opening the tournament on Friday, June 12 against Paraguay, the Stars-and-Stripes will also compete in Group D on Friday, June 19 against Australia before closing out the group stage on Thursday, June 25 against Turkey. The El Tri celebrations will be held on Thursday, June 11 (South Africa), Thursday, June 18 (South Korea), and Wednesday, June 24 (Czechia). If either side advances to the knockout stages, celebratory festivities will continue for those matches. Real Salt Lake will also host festivities to celebrate the conclusion of the tournament on Sunday, July 19 regardless of which nations are competing in the Final.

“Our Club is excited to engage with fans across the Salt Lake valley as the entire world celebrates the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the largest sporting event in the history of the world,” said John Kimball, Utah Soccer President of Business Operations. “Both Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC aim to provide unifying gathering places for all to witness the grandeur of this event, especially those who follow the U.S. Men’s National Team – which we hope includes our own Diego Luna – and the Mexican National Team, a perennial global power. Fans from all over the Intermountain West are invited to join us at either America First Field or select Megaplex facilities to participate.”

Celebrations at America First Field will offer free admission to the first 10,000 fans in attendance, with the option to upgrade to a VIP package. VIP package details will be announced at a later date. Taking place at Beddy’s Plaza at America First Field, fans will have the opportunity to engage in sponsored activations, purchase concessions and merchandise and meet special guests ranging from active RSL and Utah Royals FC players to Club alumni.

At Megaplex, fans will be able to celebrate national teams on the world’s largest stage. All  ticket purchases at select Megaplex locations  include food and beverages, optimizing every fan’s “cinema” experience.

Real Salt Lake will host the FIFA World Cup Trophy later this afternoon at America First Field as part of The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola. RSL fans can enter HERE for a chance to see sports’ most coveted trophy.

Real Salt Lake returns to MLS action this Saturday, hosting Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, April 4 at America First Field following the recent FIFA International Break that featured seven RSL pipeline callups, headlined by Uruguayan World Cup hopeful Juan Manuel Sanabria. After Saturday’s match, RSL remains at home to host San Diego FC on Saturday, April 18, followed by Inter Miami CF on Wednesday, April 22.
