Research and creative activities funding opportunity
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the SIU Foundation invite SIU faculty to seek funds to support scholarly, creative and research activities.
All disciplines are invited to submit proposals — two awards will be dedicated to innovative work in the humanities and the arts, with four more awards open to all disciplines, including the humanities and the arts. The maximum award budget is $12,000, and funds must be used between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027.
Projects should promote innovation, leadership or student success, although student participation is not required.
The application deadline is Jan. 31, with awards announced in April.
