Retired Chicago White Sox outfielder Dan Pasqua and his wife, Paula, in August sold their longtime, five-bedroom, 3,461-square-foot house in Orland Park for their $775,000 asking price.
Pasqua, who played for the Sox from 1988 until 1994, now oversees some youth baseball operations for the Sox.
In Orland Park, the Pasquas paid $550,000 in 2011 for the house, which is in the Swallow Ridge neighborhood. Later in 2011, they had it on the market briefly for $625,000 before removing it, and they again listed it for a short time in 2020 for $599,000.
The couple then listed the home yet again this past June for $775,000, and found a buyer just a week later.
Built in 2001, the house has five full bathrooms, a Y-shaped staircase, hardwood floors, wainscoting, a new roof and a kitchen with a new Bosch double oven, granite countertops and a large island. Other features include a family room with a custom fireplace, a second-floor primary bedroom suite with a designer ceiling and a walk-in closet, and a finished lower level with a rec room and fitness area.
Via text message, Paula Pasqua declined to comment on the sale or where the couple have moved, while the Pasquas’ listing agent, Niki Rocco, did not respond to several requests for comment.
The house had a $14,436 property tax bill in the 2023 tax year.
