Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight predictions

Timothy Bradley: Tyson will knock out Jake Paul

Timothy Bradley told Fox News: “Mike Tyson, knock his a– out, baby! It can happen. Two minutes is going to favor Mike Tyson … banging him to the body, hitting him with power shots,” Bradley said. “He has the potential to knock this man out. The power is the last thing to leave you. Two minutes, that’s all it takes to knock Disney boy the hell out.”

The Sporting News: Tyson by decision

David Fletcher writes: “Due to the lack of experience of Paul’s opponents and the fear of his power, no one has dared bring the fight to Paul. Tyson is incredibly aggressive and is highly likely to do so in multiple rounds. Even if he doesn’t get the knockout, forcing Paul into retreat once he gets a taste of Tyson’s power is quite possible.”

Tyson Fury: Tyson knockout win

Fury chose his namesake when asked on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani for his pick. Prior to his title fight with Oleksandr Usyk, Fury said he’s “over the moon” for the Tyson-Paul bout.

“If Mike Tyson hits anybody, I don’t care if he’s 90, he’s going to knock them out cold,” Fury said. “It’s ‘Iron Mike Tyson.’ He’s the baddest man on the planet. … Paul’s obviously very experienced now, he’s had a lot of tough fights, he’s had a lot of good fights … but obviously I have to back Mike Tyson, I’m named after the legend and I’ll back him as he always backs me.”

Anthony Joshua: Paul wins

The two-time former heavyweight champion boxer weighed in on the fight on “The Jonathan Ross Show” this week.

“The only thing I’m worried about is father time,” Joshua said. “That’s one thing that’s never been beaten and Tyson, he’s older now. I pray that he comes out healthy but I think Jake Paul (wins) because of youth. That’s the only thing, because of the youth.”

  • Tyson refuted rumors that the fight will be scripted during a news conference earlier this month. Instead, he wrote in a post on X that “this is a sanctioned fight and I’m knocking Jake out.”
  • The full fight rules ended earlier rumors that the fighters would use headgear and 18-ounce gloves.
