Some local businesses like coffee shop Pan and Coffee are taking the plunge and expanding their business with second location announcements. Here’s a roundup of businesses that are bringing their business home to San Antonio or taking theirs to another level.

Tesla, the tech supergiant, is expanding its presence in Central Texas alongside Austin’s growing technological hubs. With the growth of electrical vehicles, there is a need for more charging stations. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a new 5,300 sq ft Supercharger location will be headed to San Antonio’s Southside. It will be one of 60,000 across the country. Construction is expected to begin this February. The TDLR listing has the project to be completed by February 2026.
