San Antonio weekend events: Easter egg hunt, beer festival

Here’s what’s happening around the Alamo City this weekend.

Catch the final fish fry this Lenten season at Beethoven Männerchor in Southtown, 5-9pm Friday.


  • A plate costs $12.

Enjoy dinner and a drag show at Ay Que Chula on the Main Strip, 8pm Friday.

  • A $37 ticket includes an entree and one cocktail.

Get a ride to the Brewsology Beer Fest at the Witte Museum to sample from more than 40 breweries. Early admission begins at 7pm and general admission at 8pm on Saturday.

  • General admission tickets are $50. Early admission costs $65.

Listen to the combined sounds of an orchestra and a hip-hop concert from Thee Phantom & The Illharmonic Orchestra at Empire Theatre, 8pm Saturday.

  • Tickets start at $39.50.

Head to the pop-up Pancakes & Booze Art Show, beginning at 8pm Saturday at Brick at Blue Star.

  • Advanced $15 admission includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, live music and body painting.

Celebrate Beyonce and her new album with a “Renaiddance” party, beginning 9pm Saturday at Vibes Underground.

  • Advance tickets are $15.

Hunt for Easter eggs and let the kids make their own cascarones at the San Antonio Zoo on Sunday.

  • Egg hunts are at 10am, noon and 2pm and are included with zoo admission.

Hop to the Easter tea party for adults at Tea Blossom Estate, 4-6pm Sunday.

  • Tickets start at $30.
