Sean O’Malley can’t believe how Justin Gaethje was able to beat Ilia Topuria.
Gaethje (28-5 MMA, 11-5 UFC) dethroned Topuria (17-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) by battering him en route to a fourth-round doctor’s stoppage TKO in Saturday’s UFC Freedom 250 headliner at the White House in Washington DC.

“He just f*cking broke Ilia’s face; he broke his mental,” O’Malley told MMA Guru of Gaethje. “Ilia is at the hospital 100 percent probably for the next little while. That was one of the most crazy inspiring performances I’ve ever seen.”
O’Malley is as high on Topuria as anyone, and even went as far as calling him the pound-for-pound greatest fighter ever. So, seeing the former two-division champion lose in that fashion left him stunned.
“He literally broke the greatest – I was saying Ilia Topuria is the greatest fighter of all time,” O’Malley said. “I put him above Khabib (Nurmagomedov), I put him above Jon Jones, and he still is. I mean, still up there. He was.”
Like he usually does, Topuria threw a victory party prior and updated his bio to suggest that his win over Gaethje was already secured.

“Dude, the aura he lost is crazy,” O’Malley said.
O’Malley won earlier on the night when he delivered on his knockout promise by taking out Aiemann Zahabi in Round 2.
