In the state of Georgia, most abortions are illegal after six weeks, which is often before most people even realize that they are pregnant. Maria Hinojosa speaks with award winning journalists and producers, Soledad O’Brien and Rose Arce about their Oscar nominated documentary, The Devil Is Busy. The film follows the day in the life of Tracii, the head of security at an abortion clinic in Atlanta, Georgia, revealing what life really looks like for those seeking abortion care in a post Roe-America.
In this conversation, we discuss how this film came together, why they decided to focus on the head of security, and what they hope the audience will understand about life inside an abortion clinic.
