Sofía Vergara was a vision in blue at the Culture Makers Event, which she hosted alongside Jessica Alba, Tracy Brennan, and Nina Garcia on Monday in Beverly Hills. For the occasion, Vergara didn’t veer too far away from her usual outfit formula: a form-fitting dress with platform heels.

The “Griselda” star is known for loving a pair of sky-high heels, and even her character Gloria in “Modern Family” was known for having the same preference. At the event, she returned to a shoe style she has worn before, opting for the Alexandre Birman Clarita bow-embellished metallic leather platform sandals.
She wore the shoes in a brilliant navy blue, and she was previously spotted on Instagram wearing the same style in a champagne shade. The Clarita platform heel provides quite a boost in height with its 120mm block heel and platform, which, according to the brand, makes the shoes “comfortable for day-to-night wear.”

The heels are crafted in a light-reflecting blue metallic leather, and the style is finished with the brand’s signature Clarita bow on the toe strap, as well as on the ankle-strap closure. Alexandre Birman offers the Clarita in a variety of colors and styles, and a metallic silver pair currently retails for $725. The Clarita sandal style is also offered in a ballet flat, a stiletto heel, and more.
The Colombian actress also stuck to her go-to dress silhouette for the outing. She attended in a figure-hugging, off-the-shoulder maxidress. The style, which is often referred to as a Bardot dress, features a neckline that exposes both of her shoulders.

The dress appears to be made from a stretchy, comfortable material like jersey or a rayon-spandex blend, with a midi-length that reached right at her ankles. The garment includes a high side slit for movement, and she opted for the style in a captivating shade of navy blue.
Alba and Brennan created Culture Makers in an effort to increase networking opportunities and support for Latinos in the entertainment industry. Since its first iteration in 2023, the annual event now brings together Latinos from every corner of the film and television industry. Countless actors, agents, makeup artists, directors, writers, and more attended the celebration this year, including Andy Garcia, Becky G, Danny Ramirez, Vanessa Bryant, Natalia Bryant, Willy Chavarria, and more.
