DENVER (KDVR) — Even with scattered showers and severe weather across Colorado ending the month of May, the first weekend of June brings sunshine and 80-degree — maybe even 90-degree — temperatures to Denver.
Last weekend, Coloradans were able to see a rare corpse flower bloom, as well as enjoy the long and sunny weekend. While there isn’t another flower that smells like rotting flesh set to bloom this weekend, there’s still plenty to do.
Things to do around Denver this weekend

Free fishing weekend
Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering a free fishing weekend from June 1-2. If you’re looking for the best catch, CPW publishes a report that provides information on bodies of water around the state. The report is free and available on the department’s website.

U.S. Women’s National Team vs. Korea Republic

Even though the weather is expected to be nice this weekend, if you’re heading to an outdoor activity, be sure to keep up with the latest updates.
