LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Despite legal challenges, final preparations are underway for what organizers are calling a historic UFC fight set to take place on the White House South Lawn.
The fight night is scheduled for this Sunday and is part of planned activities being held in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
John Wood, founder and head coach of Syndicate MMA in Las Vegas, is among the sport’s best-known coaches. Wood built Syndicate MMA from a small local gym into a training center that has produced numerous UFC fighters and champions. He joined the News 3 broadcast to discuss his thoughts behind the fight.
