The Silvertips, leading the CHL with 47 wins, are Memorial Cup favorites.
The Red Wings also have a connection to the No. 2-ranked Moncton Wildcats. No. 1 goalie Rudy Guimond (169th, 2023). He is 32-6-3 with a 2.36 GAA and .922 save percentage. Over two seasons with Moncton, the 6-foot-4 Guimond is 48-6-3.
