LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Turtle Stack Brewery hosted a “Pints with a Purpose” fundraiser Tuesday evening to support Centro Latino of La Crosse, directing 10% of all beverage sales and 100% of cash tips to the nonprofit.
Centro Latino provides free English as a Second Language classes, translation and interpreting services, legal and medical assistance navigation, and housing and employment support to Spanish-speaking residents in the Coulee Region.
The brewery’s “Pints with a Purpose” is a monthly fundraising program that partners with different local nonprofits. September’s event will support the La Crosse Chamber Chorale, with future months featuring the La Crosse Symphony and HoresSense.
Centro Latino is located at 1209 Main Street in La Crosse. Turtle Stack Brewery is located at 125 2nd Street South, La Crosse.
